With modern offices and storage facilities in both Greenwich and Canary Wharf, London, Metropolitan are ideally placed to serve all areas in the South East.
With modern transport links to Canary Wharf and London central, ten and thirty minutes respectively, we are in an ideal position to monitor and control a high percentage of our projects on a daily basis.
Metropolitan have successfully carried out projects throughout the UK utilising both our own and local staff.
With modern air, road and rail links direct from London our projects can be monitored closely thus ensuring all projects are completed to the standards we set in the London region.
In house specialist team who originate from a design consultancy background
The challenges of the technical aspects of our business are addressed on an on-going basis. Generally small to medium sized projects are dealt with in house by our own specialist team who originate from a design consultancy background.
The design element of larger projects is achieved within a team consisting of our staff and those from a consultancy whom we have a long term association with.
The company and its team are fully conversant with all aspects of critical power systems and is one of only three approved installers of MGE UPS systems.
Metropolitan was placed on the National Inspection Councils (NICEIC) list of approved contractors in 1990, gained National Quality Assurance accreditation to BS EN ISO 9001 in 1992 and joined the Electrical Contractors Association Technical Assessment Scheme in 1997 and gained HVCA, CHAS, Safecontractor and Constructionline accreditations in 2009.
Metropolitan are constantly assessed on an on-going basis by the associations detailed thus maintaining our existing high standards, improving procedures where necessary and keeping us at the forefront of any changes within the industry.
Heath and Safety
Metropolitan have an extremely good Health and Safety record and it is our intention to maintain this record in the future.
In 1998, to aid us in achieving this end we appointed a specialist Health and Safety consultancy to improve our existing procedures and provide training for all our employees.
